Hardscape Maintenance

Maintenance of walkways and parking areas is a major concern for shopping centers, warehouses, apartment complexes and large businesses. Not only is the asthetic appearance important, that is, the removal of litter, but also the removal of sand, broken glass and loose gravel which causes abrasive wear and can even cause personal injury resulting in legal liability. Suwannee Lawn & Garden offers vacuum sweeping using a Schwarze Industries trailer mounted vacuum sweeper. The air sweeper is superior to brush-type sweepers as it vacuums sand and debris from cracks and irregularities in the asphalt rather than just sweeping the surface. Another benefit is the use of air instead of a brush resulting in less abrasive wear on striping and sealcoating. An average shopping center should be swept 5 to 7 days per week depending on the amount of traffic and other factors
